When is AI image upscaling useful?

Pet photos and portraits

Check enlarged fur, eyes and outlines. Faces and fine textures may change, so compare against the original.

Product images and visual assets

Prepare higher-resolution images for layouts and displays. Pay particular attention to text, logos, materials and product structure.

Low-resolution images

Try improving how small images look when enlarged. Severe blur or compression prevents guaranteed recovery of missing information.

How to evaluate image enhancement

  • Compare corresponding areas at similar display sizes. Check fur, textures, eyes and outlines.
  • The example crops the head from the original and its corresponding 4K result into equally sized comparison panels. Each detail preview is 1200 × 600, not the full 4K output.
  • The full images differ in aspect ratio and detail, so this comparison is not aligned pixel for pixel. AI may change image content.
  • More pixels do not necessarily mean more authentic detail. Check actual dimensions and important areas after downloading.

Image enhancement FAQ

Does 4K mean four times larger?

No. 4K is this tool's output tier; actual dimensions depend on the result. The example result is 2881 × 3840.

Can a blurry image become completely sharp?

This cannot be guaranteed. AI may improve appearance, but missing details may be regenerated and should not be treated as accurate recovery of the original information.

Can text, faces and product details change?

Yes. Check people, text, logos and product structure in each result. Keep originals of important images.

Can I enhance images in batches?

Yes. Images are processed one at a time, and results can be reviewed and downloaded together. Stay on this page until the batch finishes.

Can I use 4K with free trial credits?

Access depends on your current credits and pack. Trial credits restricted to 1K background removal or photo restoration cannot be used for this tool.

What should I do if processing fails?

Check the error, file size, format and connection, then retry. Failed or timed-out tasks return credits automatically.
